Hi, this is my first time in the forum and I wish to seek advice on my situation.
I'm a green card holder (singapore citizen) who got married while being a US PR. I wish to apply for my wife (singapore citizen) a green card.
How long is the typical wait? while applying, is it true that my wife can't enter the US?
I kind of know the answers but would like to confirm with this forum. I know the situation can be pretty bleak.
Many many thanks,

My sponsoring company changed its legal name on January 1, 2008 for some restructuring reasons. I got saved, as Im July 2, 2007 I-485 filer (I ended up completing 6 months after I-485 with filing employer).
Our corporate attorney has advised us that, they would invoke AC21 only if RFE received.
Now, Im looking else where for a new job I plan to invoke AC21 only if RFE is received. However, Im concerned that my employer may try to revoke I-140 (Note # On Behest of my Desi manager who has pinned me down on several occasions due to my pending GC application)
My question is since filing employer no longer exists (legally), would my current employer be able to revoke I-140?
I would appreciate insight from Gurus on this forum!

Can universities hire someone on H1B which comes under quota?
Is this H1B transfer, like a regular H1B transfer?
How long does it take to get a receipt?

Thanks for quick response smartboy.Your response gives me much strength.I was only worried about the fact , that I left my employer and did not file for about 20 days in between.

If she comes back on H4 she can not start working until another h4-h1 (cos) complete. It is really your personal choice and how confident you are about your wife's successful h1b stamping at home consulate.
Thank for your reply
As I interpret what you said If she comes back on H4 her H1 (i797) invalidates?

Have you tried upgrading your Bridge or Lightroom? Not to the latest version, which I know costs, but to the free upgrades which add your camera.
